A weak tornado (IF0.5) was reported and documented in the vicinity of Shildon, impacting the nearby village of Eldon. The tornado occurred over land, with verified observations including:

- Minor structural damage including roof and chimney impacts
- Large tree branches broken
- Crop and farmland damage observed in rural areas

A waterspout was spotted off the coast of Troon, captured in photographs and reported by beachgoers and members of the Scotland’s Scenery Facebook group. The event occurred over water and was clearly visible from land.
