
Saturday´s last short news will be from Australia and the Arctic both.
While Australia is after severe heatwaves, up to +38,2°C in Carnavron, and +34,4°C in Perth, Western Australia, very warm late-Autumn weather apperaed in New Zealand, too.
Weather in New Zealand has also been very warm in the past weeks with dozens of records broken. Earlier this month, the subtropical not inhabited, remote island of Raoul (Kermedec group) also had its highest temperature in history in May with +25,7°C. (more here: https://x.com/extremetemps).
Meanwhile in the Arctic, Greenlandic secotr of the Arctic sea ice is still significantly above a current seasonal average.
