In South Africa, after historic +39,9°C from Alexander Bay in May 2025, the next temperatures up to +35°C in Eastern Cape appeared.
Alexander Bay meanwhile broke a record of the hottest May night, with Tmin of +22,6°C in the last days (or nights).
In Sahara, +47,4°C was measured in Algeria, +47,0°C in Mali, +46,9°C in Senegal.
In Rad Sedr, Egypt, +45,4°C was least for all-time record for the Saharan city.
+46,6°C in Saint Louis in Senegal coast was its the hottest day in all-time history (more than 140 years).
A record hot night with Tmin of +35,0°C was reported from In Guezzam, Algeria.
In Niger appeared floods, 20 were killed.
