In Thailand, sunny and hot weather with calm conditions, but occasional afternoon T-storms were observed in the last days.
Meanwhile, in Hainan, China, and northern Vietnam, Tropical depression 97W Invest is bringing heavy rainfall and the possibility of local floods.
Thailand and Myanmar are however in calm air masses northward and westward from turbulent weather.
During the next 16-day period, however, heavy rainfall and storms are forecasted mainly for western parts of Thailand, while eastern parts will be drier and hotter.
Stormy weather is forecasted in Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, eastern Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines and large parts of Indonesia in the next 16 days.
