This anomaly, such we can see on composites maps, is created between pressure high near the British Islands and pressure low above European Russia. These pressure areas are creating low temperature anomaly in Eastern half of Europe with 2,5-week anomalies below -3°C and a historic heatwave in Central Asia, with temepratures up to +46°C /https://mkweather.com/madness-in-central-asia-brutal-heatwaves-up-to-46c-in-spring-turkmenistan-456c-uzbekistan-445c-kazakhstan-440c-siberia-366c-heatwaves-in-the-middle-e/; https://mkweather.com/unbelievable-40c-in-siberia-in-may-423c-above-50n-in-kazakhstan-china-with-470c-iran-486c-floods-in-china-611-mm-24-h-and-vietnam//.
However, hot air is according to ECMWF prepared for the first June 2025 decade for all Europe, with a possible first serious big heatwave, with temperatures above +30°C, shortly locally up to +35°C in continental Europe. Spain, Italy and Turkey will be hot, too, around +40°C in the hottest places.
According to updated accumulated precipitation map from wxcharts.com, floods will be in the next period possible mainly in the Alps, especially Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia and northern Italy, such as across Balkan and in the Carpathians. E.g. Slovenia appears very bad on the maps.
