An unprecedent heatwave in Central Asia is shifting northward, with +39,3°C in Uglovskoye, Siberia, Russia, which is the highest Siberian May temperature in all-time history!
Only in the last days, +45,6°C was measured in Turkmenistan, +44,5°C in Uzbekistan, and excessive +44,0°C in Kazakhstan, regionally breaking not only May, but too June and July records /https://mkweather.com/madness-in-central-asia-brutal-heatwaves-up-to-46c-in-spring-turkmenistan-456c-uzbekistan-445c-kazakhstan-440c-siberia-366c-heatwaves-in-the-middle-e//. Some monthly records were destroyed by more than 10°C margin.
From the next places in Siberia, +38,6°C was measured in Kljuci, +38,0°C in Volciha.
Almaty, Kazakh capital, reported +36,6°C, a record too.
+39,8°C in Zhany – Jer in Kyrgyzstan will write history as the hottest day in May ever. In the capital, Bishkek, +37,1°C was measured.
+22,7°C in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, its the hottest night in May ever.
Tmin in Zmeinogorsk, Siberia, with records since 1901, reached +23,3°C made the hottest night in all-time history, including June, July and August!
Summer temperatures and records are reported from Japan, too, but in continental China, temperatures reached anomalous +47,0°C.
+43,6°C in Turpan, China is a new monthly record for the city.
Extremely hot air to Central Asia is coming from Sahara and the Middle East.
While Egypt at the weekend destroyed all-time May record in South Valley Uni (+47,1°C), in Quasrequand, Iran, +48,6°C, in Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, +47,0°C, in Eilat, Israel, +45,5°C and in Aqaba, Jordan, +45,0°C was measured.
Guangxi, China reported severe floods with 610.5 mm rain in 24 hours in Longmengang, with 30 trains suspended and dozens dead.
Floods hit similarly parts of northern Vietnam, leaving 3 dead.
