Thanks to cold Arctic air, snow cover has remained preserved and above Eastern Ukraine is now cold air, which was bringing on Monday, 1. February 2021 extremely low temperatures in Czechia /https://mkweather.com/2021/02/01/jizerka-czechia-278c-the-second-peak-surprised/ /, Slovakia /https://mkweather.com/2021/02/01/slovakia-226c-24-degree-warmer-than-the-first-peak/ / and Poland /https://mkweather.com/2021/02/01/zamoscie-210c-lublin-ground-frosts-260c-and-bialystok-43-cm-of-snow-2nd-peak-in-poland/ /.

In Odesa, snowfall surprised inhabitants of the city and caused many car accidents . Frozen sweet water from the snow covered many spaces in the port.
Liubashivka (183 MASL) not so far from Odesa, currently reports 30 cm of snow (maximum 32 cm at the end of January).
Odesa, 29 cm of snow reported on 29. January 2021, what is for almost subtropic Mediterranean / Black Sea region relatively high accumulation.
Except for Scandinavia and Russia, snow calamity is forecasted for next 16 days mainly for Poland, Denmark, northern Germany, Belarus and Baltic states , where expected frosts should be strongest.
In Ukraine, next heavy snowfall is expected around 10. February 2021.
