The coldest morning of the Winter 2020/2021 arrived after series of extremely cold days – on Wednesday was measured in Mühlhausen -27,1°C, and on Saturday and Sunday on Marienberg-Kuehnhaide -27,0°C and -27,9°C.
Monday´s minimum temeprature -28,9°C in Marienberg-Kuehnhaide is therefore the coldest temperature in Germany (from lower situated regions below 800 MASL) of current coldwave, but too ongoing winter.
In parts of Germany were measured the coldest temperatures since 2012.
