Floods and mudslides hit after a period of extremely hot weather /https://mkweather.com/not-only-sahara-central-asia-extremely-hot-turkmenistan-482c-iran-513c-continental-china-50c-soon// parts of Central Asia.
The worst situation was early this week, around 12. July 2021 in the border region of Uzbekistan with Kyrgyzstan, where floods and mudslides killed together 15 people.
Mudslides hit regions of Aksy region of Jalal-Abad oblast, Kyrgyzstan, and Kosonsoy district of Namangan region, Uzbekistan.
In neighboring Tajikistan in May 2021, at least 8 people were killed and property damaged in landslides in rural regions.
Meanwhile in Siberia, extremely dry Summer 2021 is persisting /https://mkweather.com/the-1st-half-of-summer-2021-series-of-esrl-composites-2021// and in the last days, the next extensive wildfires were reported.
However, in the northernmost parts of Siberia is Summer 2021 is colder than average, so far.
In Central Asia, western parts are hotter and drier, while eastern parts colder and stormier in Summer 2021.
