
While in Hungary on Saturday, 13. February 2021, surprised all-time national record, -35,5°C /https://mkweather.com/2021/02/13/hungary-355c-all-time-national-record-2021//, Slovakia was suffering temperatures up to -26,9°C in lower situated regions and -29,0°C in the mountains and in the Poland, a belt of very dry air didn´t come, yet.
Extremely dry air during the last night was shifted mainly above Hungary and southern Slovakia, where were measured mentioned temeprature records above. In Poland, temperatures dropped only to -18°C / -22°C in lowlands and basins / mountains thanks to high humidity and therefore, Poland for the coldest night is still waiting.
According to Mkweather humidity forecast, Poland should hit extremely cold mornings already during the next nights /https://mkweather.com/2021/02/13/a-big-siberian-winter-forecast-for-europe-which-country-will-have-excellent-conditions-relative-humidity-and-when-2021-mk//. In Slovakia, these temperatures were the lowest of the Winter 2020/2021 and the lowest since legendary January 2017, when in Oravská Lesná on Polish border temperature dropped to -35,6°C (after more than 30 years below -35°C). It is still possible, that -30°C will be overcame until Friday, 19. February, or later – GFS outputs will be updated on Mkweather soon.
