
The next extreme heatwave for southern, southeastern, and eastern Europe is already prepared and the next period will be in Italy, Greece, Balkan, SE Central Europe, and Ukraine extremely hot!
The hottest outputs from the last 72 hours (below) expected for Italy and Greece anomalous +47°C, for Bulgaria and North Macedonia +46°C, Serbia +45°C, Romania +44°C, Hungary +43°C and for Ukraine +40°C.
Current outputs are only around 1-2°C colder, which means, that before us is the strongest European heatwave of the year 2021.
Until now, the highest temperature of the year occurred in Sicily, Italy, in June 2021, reportedly +46,0°C /https://mkweather.com/460c-in-caltagirone-italy-dangerous-anomalous-and-deadly-heatwave-is-peaking-even-stronger-heatwave-next-week-june-2021// and now, in the southern half of Italy or hot basins in Greece, +47°C should locally appear near sirocco.
Interesting should be temperatures across Balkan and in Hungary – at levels or near levels of all-time temperature records.
While all-time record for Hungary from 2007 has a value of +41,9°C, current outputs see a chance for +42°C and previous outputs for +43°C for the country.
All-time record for Serbia from 2007 has value +44,9°C and current outputs expect +43°C, while previous outputs +45°C.
All-time record for Bulgaria is +45,2°C from 1916 and for North Macedonia +45,7°C from 2007 and the hottest outputs within the last series expected up to +46°C in countries.
All-time record for Romania has value +44,5°C (from 1951) and on outputs from the last days appeared +44°C.
Heatwave should be very exhausting for inhabitants of the wider region and people on vacations – mainly older people and children will need care (drinking regime, protection before the sun, transport to the shops or hospitals…), mortality will be in many states again increased.
A peak of a heatwave is forecasted around 1. August 2021, but the heatwave will persist between 25. July – 2. August, in southern Italy and Greece during all the 2nd August decade. In northern parts of the region, hot weather should return around 8. August, yet, from the southwest. In Ukraine, the heatwave will come and will go away later, then in southeastern and southern Europe.
It appears, that the hottest days of Summer 2021 are coming, therefore will be prepared and watch current weather news, warnings, and forecasts, Mkweather will inform furthermore above a possible development and broken temperature records.
