
The powerful extratropical storm Zyprian hit from Monday to Tuesday, 5.-6. July 2021 northern France, southern England, and coasts of Belgium and the Netherlands.
It was the strongest windstorm in Brittany, France in July since 1969 (in 52 years).
Before an extreme extra-tropical storm has warned a portal Severe Weather Europe.
Wind gusts until early Tuesday, 6. July reached in Brittany, France, up to 146 km/h in Plougonvelin or 143 km/h in Ouessant.
Wind gusts around 90 – 100 km/h were later reported along the coast of England, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
In London and Paris, 72 km/h wind gusts were measured.
