
Only in the last article from Poland (minimum temperatures from 22. December 2021: https://mkweather.com/poland-with-the-first-20c-of-the-winter-stuposiany-21c-suwalki-in-lowlands-163c-forecasts-expect-23c/) we were informed about records up to -21°C in Stuposiany, which was the coldest temperature in Poland in Winter 2021/2022, so far.
Only a day before Christmas, on 23. December 2021, minimum temperatures dropped even lower, to -21,4°C in the Orawa region (“w kotlinie Orawsko-Nowotarskiej”) /https://gazetakrakowska.pl/podtatrze-to-byla-wyjatkowo-chlodna-noc-na-orawie-temperatura-spadla-do-minus-214-stopnia/ar/c1-15967231/, on the border with Slovakia.
In Poroninie near Tatras minimum temperatures reached -18,9°C.
“W Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich“, -17,9°C was measured.
Podolínec in northern Slovakia reported according to SHMU -18,4°C and Červený Kláštor -17,4°C.
Rabča, Orava, Slovakia reported -19,0°C in the previous morning, when in Samelova Luka, -22,2°C was measured /https://mkweather.com/samelova-luka-slovakia-222c//.
