We know there's a travel ban but still great to see Japan bouncing back to a super snowy winter after last season. Today's images from the street @joetsumyoko reporting over a metre of snow in 24 hours – most since 1986 (roof pic 6 days ago after previous storm). pic.twitter.com/J82tLsoZUr
Welcome to winter in Japan, where insulation isn’t all that great & the rule of thumb in some areas is to leave your faucet running overnight with a small stream so the pipes don’t freeze…
That moment when you wake up to not being able to leave the house. The #snow storm hit #Japan pretty hard where I live. Good thing it's the #weekend and I don't have to be in the office. Shoveled snow for 3 hours and still no go. #sgtredpixel#cold#winterpic.twitter.com/lS9YnS1LDI
Typhoons & floods in the warmer months & now in winter heavy snow in many places across Japan. But as always a lot a people do a great job keeping things running, helping those in trouble & restoring services. https://t.co/rrdMIv4fsn
