While in northern Italy 3 tornadoes – one EF1, and inCroatia tornado EF0 have appeared, in East-Central Europe, but too in Croatia appeared extreme hailstorms with 9 – 11 cm hail.
The biggest hails were reported from Będkowice, Małopolskie, Poland around Friday, 9. July 2021, 11:50 UTC, with a diameter around 11 cm.
In Wierzchowo, Małopolskie, Poland, 10 cm hail appeared around Friday, 9. July 2021, 14:00 CET and 9 cm hail in Łazy Małopolskie, Poland around 12:00 UTC.
In Hungary, 9 cm hails were confirmed from Ipolytölgyes, Pest, around 13:53 UTC.
InCroatia, 9 cm hails were reported from Beljevina Osječko-Baranjska, around 14:55 UTC.
A line of severe storms occurred during Friday, 9. July 2021 from northern Greece to western Slovakiaand severe storms hit almost all of Poland, Czechia, and western Austria.
During the weekend, severe storms will shift to more eastern parts of Central Europe, Scandinavia, Baltic states, Belarus, Ukraine and Balkan, while in France, Benelux, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, northern Italy and Czechia, the next round of storms is forecasted.
A big return of heatwaves if forecasted in all Europe after 15. July 2021, in some parts until early August 2021.
