Wildfires are threatening all Mediterranean including the eastern coast!
From Sunday to Monday, 15.-16. August 2021, the next dangerous wildfire appeared in Jerusalem, Israel, where 75 teams of firefighters, 10 firefighting planes are currently battling wildfires near Jerusalem and 40 additional teams are evacuating residents of nearby communities.
10 000 people were evacuated from their homes and wildfire already destroyed part of them.
Wildfires in Israel are coming after the extremely hot first half of August 2021. Only before a week, on 7. August 2021, +47,1°C was measured (in Sedom, -387 MASL).
In Jerusalem, maximum temperatures are reaching +30/+36°C between 1.-16. August 2021 (815 MASL).
The next wildfires appeared near Athens, Greece, too, some villages were already evacuated.
