In London, Heathrow, on 29., 30. and 31. December, the maximum temperature reached +15,0°C and more every day (+15,3°C on 29. December, +15,0°C on 30. December and +15,3°C on 31. December 2021), which are the latest observations of temperatures higher than +15°C.
Previous latest +15°C was measured on 28. December 1974.

Before a severe warming up, -6,0°C was measured on 29. December 2021 in Aviemore Scotland, but on the same day at the same station, almost +10°C was measured.

It should be extremely warm New Year 2022, with maximum temperature again above +15,0°C, but gradually, colder weather will return until 10.
