In the city, only a minimum temperature of 17°F / -8,3°C was measured on 27. December 2021, which is the lowest temperature in the city since the legendary year 2010.
The maximum temperature on 27. December in Seattle reached only 23°F / -5,0°C, which is the coldest day since 1990 (in 31 years)!
The city even reported 8 cm snowfall from 27. December 2021 (on 30.12. only 4 cm).
Anomalous coldwave hit many parts of northern and western USA – in Montana according to the newest information, only -38°F / -38,9°C was on 29. December 2021 measured /the next Mkweather article/.
Meanwhile, in Sierra Snow Lab, California, 455 cm of snowfall (193,7 inches / 16+ feet) fell such as the record amount for the station /the next Mkweather article/.
