While disturbance 92L Invest (the next possible Tropical storm Claudette) above Caribbean has still 20-70% chance to develop to a tropical storm, which should hit Yucatan, Mexico and Gulf Coast, the USA this week, name Bill is however already prepared for the second system, currently eastward from North Carolina, the USA. Moreover, 3rd system, 94L Invest (possible Tropical storm Danny), should appear above Caribbean in outlook, which will be a candidate for the first hurricane of the Atlantic hurricane season 2021!
About tropical system in Gulf of Mexico we wrote in another article /Tropical storm Bill? Disturbance hits Gulf Coast already next week! – mkweather/ and information will be during current week updated, yet.
Now, we should look mainly into “Tropical depression Two” (Tropical storm Bill) system, which is shifting and will be shifting along US and Canadian coast until Wednesday, 16. June 2021 and then aims towards Europe.
System already on Tuesday, 15. June 2021 will intensify into Tropical storm Bill, according to expectations, with some impact along all US East and Northeast coast and Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, Canada.
System is bringing local coast T-storms in North Carolina, but storms or winds produced by the system should be the most dangerous above westernmost parts of Atlantic ocean.
Already at the end of the week or at the start of the next week, around 20.-21. June 2021, remnants of the system are forecasted above shores of western Europe – for now, it isn´t clear, which country will be hit, but it appear for something from Portugal to Iceland.
Remnants of the system therefore should bring some storms or cooldown directly into Europe – and in very early season.
Meanwhile, in Caribbean, tropical system 92L Invest is forecasted to intensify into Tropical storm until the end of the week, with a possible third named tropical storm in 2021 – Claudette.
Claudette should bring significant rainfall in Yucatan, Mexico and Gulf Coast, the USA – mainly in Louisiana and Mississippi coast, together with severe coastal winds.
The third, surprising tropical system is developing westward from African coast and according to current forecasts it should moving towards the USA and Caribbean during the next week, with high potential to be the first hurricane of the Atlantic hurricane season 2021!
Currently, Category 1-2, maybe 3 is for this system early next week possible.
It appears, that Atlantic hurricane season 2021 is here and its start will be very powerful – with 3 significant disturbances already in June (+1 in May).
Mkweather will watch the situation and brings fresh news and warnings during the week, therefore stay watch weather with us.
