White and abnormally cold Christmas and New Year 2021-2022! Aggressive Siberian blast in Europe brings a peak of Winter 2021/2022 in Europe soon!

Before Christmas 2021, a shorter warm period will come to many parts of Europe, but already around Christmas and New Year 2021-2022, an aggressive Siberian blast is forecasted!

According to current materials, it appears as a peak of Winter 2021/2022, because after 10. January, NAO+ phase is already expected /https://mkweather.com/ecmwf-6-week-forecast-for-europe-until-24-january-2022//.

Outputs of GFS for Christmas time and New Year are abnormally cold, with possible temperatures below -30°C in continental European basins, frosts with the possibility of -40°C, and lower temperatures in Scandinavia, again, severe frosts are forecasted for Italy, Balkan, Greece, and Turkey, too (maps below) and only parts of western and southern Spain and Portugal should stay in the relatively warmer sector.

Surprising are mainly forecasted frosts below -30°C for continental Europe, from eastern France, through Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia and Poland, such as in Belarus, Ukraine and Baltic region and rarely in Balkan and too extreme blizzards which should hit at the end of the year mainly Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, southern Poland, parts of Czechia, the Alps and southern Germany.

If Winter 2021/2022 forecasts will be fulfilled /https://mkweather.com/winter-2021-2022-forecast-for-northern-hemisphere//, NAO+ phase will be lasting from 10. January 2022 until February 2022, with a result of warmer winter conditions. Only at the end of Winter 2021/2022, there are hopes for the return of a shorter extreme winter period, therefore, a current predicted December-January 2021-2022 long and aggressive Siberian coldwaves we should consider such as a peak of Winter 2021/2022 in Europe.

Air, which will be flowing above Europe will have origin directly in Siberia and extreme winter will come from the East.

Healthy problems, such as hypothermia, worsening of the virologic situation, heart attacks, or bad effects to many diseases should appear in risk groups of people.

Real-feel temperatures near blizzards should be anomalously low and in the mentioned regions with up to 1 meter of snowfall, power outages, traffic, and travel problems, and accidents or fallen trees will be very frequent.

The temperature in 850 hPa should be above Central Europe very close to anomalous -20°C and the upcoming cold blast, such as December 2021 should end really historic and legendary, such we forecasted in Mkweather Winter 2021/2022 forecasts months ago (materials in the link above).

In the second half of Winter 2021/2022, extreme winter conditions, thanks to NAO+, should gradually shift from Eurasia and North Africa to North America, where a strengthening of winter is since the Summer 2021 forecast.
