-20°C in the UK already this weekend?! It´s very close to 102-year all-time record!

Europe hits premature and extremely strong winter!
A long period with very cold conditions is forecasted already between late November and early January 2021-2022 /visit our homepage, Winter forecast is available here: https://mkweather.com/winter-2021-2022-forecast-for-northern-hemisphere//.
NAO index is forecasted to fall to the lowest values since extreme frosts in Europe in January and February 2021, when frosts up to -35°C appeared in Europe (Czechia, Hungary around 1000 MASL) and April 2021, when up to -20,6°C was measured in low situated basins and valleys below 1000 MASL (Slovenia) /https://mkweather.com/nao-index-falls-to-2-0-the-lowest-value-since-legendary-35c-frosts-in-europe-in-january-february-2021-or-206c-in-april-2021//.
Temperature is forecasted to decrease probably until the New Year /https://mkweather.com/extremely-cold-weather-until-a-new-year-2022-arctic-air-should-come-in-3-peaks-around-30-11-14-12-and-christmas-wider-european-region-estimates// and the first cold period has already started on Tuesday, 23. November, with a peak in the last November days and early December 2021.
Not only severe frosts, possibly up to -40°C in Scandinavia, -25°C in continental Europe, -20°C in British Islands and -15°C in the Mediterranean, but too severe blizzards across the continent are forecasted!
Cold weather has a bad impact on the virological situation, heart attack rates, many kinds of cancer, or should cause hypothermia.
Blizzards should cause widespread problems on roads, highways, or railways and power outages, including metropolitan areas.
If you live in possible hit regions, we highly recommend you to watch current weather news, forecasts, warnings, and advisories.
–20°C in British Islands (Scotland / the UK) already on Sunday, 28. November 2021?
GFS in the last 4 runs from Tuesday, 23. November 2021, have expected really low values only -12/-14°C for Scotland on GFS outputs.
It means, that according to Mkweather estimates, the real minimum temperature in mountainous valleys in Scotland should rarely drop anomalously low – up to -20°C!
The lowest measured temperature in Scotland in the month of November ever has a value of -23,3°C from 14. November 1919 (Braemar) /https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/research/climate/maps-and-data/uk-climate-extremes/.
It would be very surprising if this 102-year record was broken, but Mkweather has warned before severe November coldwaves already from late October 2021 (see our homepage), when a decline of AO index in long-term outlook was forecasted.
In northern England, according to Mkweather estimates, very rare temperatures between -10/-15°C are possible on Sunday.
All-time November record for England has value -16,1°C, from 30. November 1912 (Scaleby, Cumbria).
In this case, 109 old record was broken, if the upcoming cold blast will arrive during good conditions such as deep snow cover, weak winds, or very dry air with Greenlandic origin.
Records for Wales and Northern Ireland have values -18,0°C and -12,2°C /link above/.
The following morning, on Monday, 29. November should surprise the region too.
Then, cold weather is forecasted to stay in British Islands until 2. December 2021 and between 2.-9. December, a warm period without frosts will arrive.
Almost in all UK and half of Ireland, snowing, in colder regions with snow cover, in warmer least with snow sleets is in the next 10 days forecast.
