Bratislava´s metropolitan area with up to 30 cm snowfall, the worst blizzard since 2013!

According to slovensko.hnonline.sk it was the strongest blizzard in the city since the year 2013 /https://slovensko.hnonline.sk/15797014-bratislava-sa-pripravuje-na-snehovu-kalamitu-k-dispozicii-bude-aj-linka-zimnej-udrzby?fbclid=IwAR1rnPGCTxywZCMPy1Ub18bextx8m9tC-DS2uk-futORdGe02NjPABjTqjk/.
While lower situated parts of Bratislava reported in the last hours “only” 15 cm in Bratislava – Ivanka (airport) and 20 cm in Bratislava – Koliba (low hills above the city), in Pezinská Baba in the metropolitan area in the Little Carpathians, approximately 350 meters higher than the city, reported 30 cm of fresh snow.
Although totally worst scenarios with 40 cm haven´t been confirmed, and so high snow cover should be only in inhabited parts of the Little Carpathians in Bratislava´s region, people after a long time experienced many problems, including deadly accidents, falls, uprooted trees, or delays of public transports.
High snow cover has been created in Brno, Moravia, Czechia, or Zakopane, Poland – both 18 cm, so far, but total recorders are Austria, Slovenia, and Germany, where regionally 50 – 100 cm below 1000 MASL is reported (the next 3 Mkweather articles), with a result of the worst blizzard since legendary winter 2012!
In 2012-2013, La Nina, similarly such as during the last and current winter, was peaking, which should be with a combination of AO- and NAO- phases important factors for colder Earth and extreme coldwaves across Northern Hemisphere.

Snowfall even appeared in Ain Sefra, Sahara desert, Algeria /https://mkweather.com/collapse-of-atmospheric-circulation-snowing-in-ain-sefra-sahara-algeria//.
