Extremely cold air has shifted above Ukraine, already, with only -19,8°C in Rivne (231 MASL).

It´s generally known, that Russia in the last wars defeated Napoleon or Hitler during extreme -40°C frosts in the region.
The peak of Winter 2021/2022 in Eastern Europe is forecasted to come between 20.-31. January 2022, with a possibility of frosts up to -30°C, in European Russia up to -40°C.
