Monsoon rains hit Macau, Hong Kong and Zhuhai, China




In early Summer 2021, heavy rainfall hit Zhuhai, Macau and Hong Kong.

Zhuhai was completely flooded, roads turned into oceans, and cars were submerged in water.

Similar situation was in Hong Kong and Macau.

In some parts of cities floodwater reached more than 1 meter.

According to wxcharts.com forecast tool, the next heavy rainfall are expected in southern half of China, such as Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau.

Monsoon rains are forecasted for Korean Peninsula, southern Japan and all southern and southeastern Asia, too.

Regionally should fall up to 2000 mm of rain during 16 days until 25. June 2021 – mainly in western India, Myanmar´s coast.

In southern China and Taiwan up to 500 mm of rain in 16 days is possible (severe drought in Taiwan is away /https://mkweather.com/taiwan-year-without-typhoon-one-of-the-worst-droughts-in-100-years//).

“Once in a 100 years” floods, such as in 2020 will be in 2021 regionally in monsoon Asia again possible – La nina is bringing stronger monsoon rains such as usual.
