While hottest was Saturday, with +47,4°C in Montoro, Sunday, 15. August brought the next surprises – mainly all-time temperature record in Murcia (Alcantarilla), +47,0°C!
On Monday was extremely hot air from Sahara shifted even above the Canary Islands, and in La Aldea de San Nicolás, +45,6°C was measured.
In neighboring Morocco, the all-time August record was broken (+49,1°C – the next Mkweather article).
The worst wildfires are at the start of the week reported from central Spain.
