A powerful tornado (its strength is still considered) hit only 3-5 hours after a devastating outbreak in central Poland a metropolitan area in southern Poland – directly in Krakow, leaving dead, injured, and widespread material damages.
The arrival of the extreme vortex was captured in the videos below.
In the first video, widespread havoc during extreme wind gusting is evident just in the streets of Krakow, with life-threatening flying large objects (building material).
The second video captured a falling crane behind the first scene, unfortunately with deadly impact on workers in the crane and the next injured.
On ESWD site is written: “A crane was overturned by a brief tornado. Two people died (a crane operator and a construction worker on the ground, 63-year-old and 23-year-old), two other people were injured. A roof of a Biedronka supermarket on Półłanki street was also damaged. Some cars were damaged by fallen elements of the roof.” /https://eswd.eu/cgi-bin/eswd.cgi/
