These extremely cold air masses from the Western Alps are currently shifting eastward and already on Saturday, 4. December 2021, morning, minimum temperatures in eastern France, southern Bavaria, Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, southern Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, western Ukraine, or northwestern Romania should rarely drop to a national minimum below -20,0°C, in Czechia maybe below -25,0°C!

Very cold will be in Western Balkan, too, rarely below -15,0°C.

In the Baltic region and Belarus, frosts -15/-20°C should appear both 2 nights at the weekend.

In Scandinavia, frosts -35/-40°C are still possible.

Even colder mornings in Central Europe should appear in the next week, according to current materials, mainly around 7.-10. December 2021.
