The last region from the series of forecasts for the wider European region in relation to an upcoming Siberian blast in Europe is Turkey and the northern Middle East.

Turkey will be in the next period hit very probably by the coldest air masses during the current winter season, with an expected peak of Winter 2021/2022.
In basins and valleys from western to eastern parts with a deep snow cover, temperatures should drop into interval of -20 / -30°C and heavy snowfall in the mountainous regions is possible.
Severe frosts, although not so strong, and snowfall should surprise metropolitan cities, including Istanbul, Ankara, or even cities along the southern coast.
The temperature in 850 hPa should be above all territory of Turkey fall into interval -10/-15°C, rarely -20°C, which are anomalously low temperatures for the subtropical region.
A little warmer should be in Lebanon, Syria, and Israel, where up to -10°C and heavy snowfall in the mountains are possible while snowing and frosts should drop below elevations 1000 MASL.
Very cold weather, with snow below 1000 MASL and frosts should again appear in northern Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan or even Egypt or Libya.
Snowfall from Western Disturbances (ex-Mediterranean lows) and severe frosts should little later surprise mountainous regions in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India.
