In Miercurea Ciuc, 662 MASL, in Carpathians, from 25. October to 1. November 2021, minimum temperatures of -10,3°C, -9,8°C, -9,5°C, -8,8°C, -7,5°C, -6,6°C, -9,6°C and -8,2°C were measured, what is significantly lower value than seasonal average.
Record lows for the city for the month of October are moving around -14°C, the city, therefore, was only around 3,5°C from the all-time monthly record, during a classical anticyclonic autumn period.
Maximum temperatures in a very dry air however were moving during the period from +10 almost to +20°C in the region.
After extremely cold mornings, an untraditional November heatwave is in the next period forecasted, with a possible +28°C in Romania and northern Balkan countries, while Albania should reach +30°C, Greece +31°C, Italy +33°C or Turkey tropical +34°C according to Mkweather forecasts from the last days /links above/.
