Winter has already come to Africa! Morocco -0,7°C, Algeria 0,2°C in lower situated areas, and the first snow reported!

Winter has already come into the coldest parts of North Africa!

The first frosts in lower elevated regions and the first snow in lower situated parts of Atlas mountains was in the last hours and days reported, while the significant cooldown hit already all Morocco, Algeria, and even Western Sahara, Mauritania, and parts of Mali.

In Chefchaouen, Morocco, only 287 MASL, on Modnay, 8. November, the minimum temperature dropped to -0,7°C.

In Algeria, the coldest was in Batna, 826 MASL, only +0,1°C.

In Tlemcen, Algeria, 842 MASL, the first snowfall was reported (Tweet below).

Meanwhile, extremely hot Tripoli, the Libyan capital, reported anomalous +38,2°C or Sirta +38,0°C / or Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria tropical +32,4°C in November /

Severe coldawaves will be in the next weeks shifting across Europe and North Africa to Central Asia and the Middle East.

It´s possible, that even colder times will affect North Africa, together with Europe, sometimes between 14.-23. November 2021 /;, with the next snowfall and severe frosts.
