Ski-resorts in Europe are re-opening only a few days before Summer 2021! 8 countries still available

After COVID crisis, French and Italian ski centers in the Alps are re-opening only a few days before Summer 2021 according to server / During long winter season 2020/2021, winter resorts in countries were closed due to virus restrictions.

According to server, ski resorts are/will be still open in 8 European countries, what is at the end of May relatively rare – good snow / glacier conditions are not reported only from the Alps (France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria), but too from Noway, Sweden, Slovakia and Slovenia /

In Austria, The Dachstein, Kaunertal and Molltal resorts have re-opened and the Pitztal and Stubai resorts have extended their seasons in to June. The Kitzsteinhorn and the Hintertux are also open.

Les 2 Alpes, La Clusaz and Val d’Isere in France are epected to be open in last May 2021 days and June 2021.

In Switzerland Crans Montana, Engelberg and Zermatt remain open.

The Presena at Pontedilegno-Tonale in Italy will be open to skiers in next days, too.

Lomnický štít in Slovakia (2634 MASL) still reports 148 cm of snow, Chopok (2024 MASL) 70 cm of snow.

Kraderica in Slovenia experiences with historical summer-season snowfall, 510 cm /

Problems with snow are reported from meadows and forest zone in Germany or Czechia /;

In Scandinavia, British Islands and many parts of NW Europe from Baltic states to France, cold Summer 2021 is expected /
