In Mexico, around 85% territory of the country is affected, including the most populated parts and capital, Mexico City.
Mexico City reports the worst drought in last 30 years, but in some regions, the situation is even worse.
Around 10 millions of people in Mexico City are dependent from reservoirs which are currently only around 40% of their capacity.

Water crisis is worsening mainly in regions with drying lakes.
Series of dry months in 2021 are only continue of very dry years 2019 and 2020.
In western USA and western Canada, severe drought and heatwaves in 2020 brought the worst wildfire season in history.
In 2021, severe wildfires should return – very hot and dry Summer 2021 is already by American climatologists forecasted.
